The Garuda Wisnu Kencana Foundation appointed I Nyoman Nuarta as the main sculptor for the GWK Bali project. Because I Nyoman Nuarta is one of Indonesia’s best modern sculptors.

Then in 2013, the ownership management of GWK Bali was taken over by PT Alam Sutera Realty Indonesia. PT Alam Sutera Realty Indonesia is a property development company in Indonesia.

Over time, tourist attractions in Bali GWK developed into a place for cultural exhibitions, entertainment events and attractions. As well as being a forum for information and communication for local culture, national culture, regional culture and even international culture.
